A data logger (also known as datalogger or data recorder) is an electronic piece of equipment with the purpose of recording of data in excess of time or in association to place also with a built in tool or sensor or by means of outer tools and sensors. More and more, but not completely, they are found on a digital processor (or computer). They generally are small, battery powered, portable, and equipped with a micro chip, inner memory for data storage and sensors.
